Nicky Sum

Nicky’s playing style is very gentle and slow. Sometimes the bowl strike is imperceptible as if the bowl played itself. She has a prescribed sequence for her sound bath that she follows. Nicky plays slow and steady with restraint and a consistency that renders her almost invisible.

Recorded at her studio in an industrial building in Kwai Hing. There was some construction sounds down the hallway that can be heard.

Sound Bath 035: [Listen Here]
In this session, Nicky’s playing style matches the precise and consistent sound of her bowls. Her own breathing is the tempo that you follow as she guides you through the session. If you need something slow, soft, and pure, this is the track for you.
